PURPOSE: To prevent dust from intruding in the equipment main body by allowing a control section to control an opening/closing mechanism for a recording paper discharge cover when recording paper is discharged. CONSTITUTION: A recording paper discharge port cover 6 fitted to the equipment main body via a rotary support shaft 61 is open upward by allowing a cam 50 fitted to the equipment main body in a freely rocking way to rock a knob 63 provided in an arm 62 of the cover 6 to discharge recording paper. When a solenoid 51 is excited by receiving an excitation signal from a control section in the equipment main body at the discharge of the recording paper, the solenoid 51 attracts the cam 50 to rock the knob 63 and to open the recording paper discharge port cover 6. The exciting signal is outputted till the recording paper discharge is finished. When the recording paper discharge is finished and the exciting signal is lost, the solenoid 51 is deenergized, the cam 50 is pushed back and the cover 6 losing its support is closed by gravity. The equipment closes the insertion port of a transmission original and the discharge port of the recording paper when then are not in operation. |
