PURPOSE: To simply and surely obtain test data with an inexpensive device by applying packet processing to stored data. CONSTITUTION: A video ROM 211 stores video data for test, an audio ROM 212 stores audio data 1, an audio ROM 213 stores audio data 2, and a prefix ROM 214 stores packet head data respectively in advance. A timing control circuit 215 reads properly the data above and applies packet processing to the data and provides an output of the processed data as test data. A ROM 231 stores MPG data including EPG data. A CPU 235 reads the MPG data and applies packet processing to the data and provides an output of the processed data via an FIFO 233. |
