PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of electric connection as securing a wiring area in a region where electrodes are formed. CONSTITUTION: Plural first protrusions 103 and plural second protrusions 104 are formed on the surface of a flexible cable 211 fixed to a carrier 202 facing to the flexible cable 311 of a recording head 302. The positions of the first protrusions 103 corresponds to the positions of electrodes 314 formed on the flexible cable 311 of the recording head 302. Electrodes 105 are respectively formed on the tip portions of the respective first protrusions 103, and when a head cartridge 301 is mounted on the carrier 202, the electrodes 105, 314 touch each other so as to be electrically connected. The second protrusions 104 whose height is lower than that of the first protrusions 103 are formed so as to intermingle with the first protrusions 103. |
