PURPOSE: To make it possible to save as much data as possbile without increasing the size of an equipment or lowering a reliability such as the use of a large capacitor. CONSTITUTION: When a power supply is stopped, a voltage monitoring circuit 6 detects the decline of the voltage and then outputs a signal to a bus 11 to tell it to turn the mode to a data saving one. At the reception of such a signal, a CPU 2 starts saving data of a main memory 3 in an EEPROM 4. When the signal of data saving mode is transmitted to the bus 11, a switch 7 receives such a signal and then cuts off the supply of power to a sub-circuit 5. |
