<p>PURPOSE: To monitor an operating state of a CPU without provision of a circuit exclusively for detecting a runaway by sending a prescribed signal used to reset a CPU of a faulty node via a common signal line when a runaway is detected. CONSTITUTION: When high speed nodes 20, 30 detect a fault of respective CPUs 100, they monitor an output state of mutual communication data via multiplex transmission line MB1 (MB2). When the one communication node 30 detects the absence of frames F3, F4 representing a detection signal of a sensor outputted for a prescribed synchronizing period or no return of an ACK, the communication node 30 judges that a fault occurs in the CPU 100 of the other communication node 20, ends the frame F1 to the communication node 20 via a bus I/F (interface) 110 and gives a command of providing an output of a reset pulse signal P from the communication IC 101 to the CPU 100.</p> |
