PURPOSE: To provide a method and device for information processing which can prevent the service level of collaborative operation from decreasing owing to a conflict on a common resource. CONSTITUTION: When plural client perform collaborative operation, the frequencies of operation from the client to an object of the collaborative operation are detected (steps S1001 and S1002). Then, when an operation frequency detected by a detecting means has exceeded a specific value, at least one or plural clients whose functions of the collaborative operation should be limited are selected out of the clients and the execution of the functions of the selected one or plural clients is limited (steps S1003 and S1004). Thus, the functions of some of the clients in the collaborative operation are limited to reduce the processing load on a server, etc., which manages the collaborative operation, thereby maintaining the service level of the collaborative operation. |
