PURPOSE: To obtain a motor controller for prolonging the service life of a DC motor while lowering the total cost by preventing abrasion of the brush and commutator in the DC motor in an early stage. CONSTITUTION: In the system for driving a DC motor 10 by feeding a pulse voltage turning ON/OFF within a predetermined period continuously, the pulse voltage is turned OFF when an overcurrent detection circuit 15 provided in the DC motor 10 detects a predetermined overcurrent thus preventing a current larger than the overcurrent from flowing into the DC motor. |
