<p>The system controls the movement of a transport platform or cabin etc. depending on the current situation to ensure safety of the transported invalid. The movement is regulated according to entered velocity profile data, to ensure a smooth acceleration and retardation movement. The required velocity profile is determined by a learning process, using a hand control for guiding the movement, with a different velocity profile stored for each user of the stair lift. The control and regulation system use a neural network for user identification, with automatic selection of the appropriate velocity profile, for controlling the electric lift motors.</p> |
