Mobile network emulator for private communication terminals

An "external" private communications terminal (KE) can be connected to a private communications system (KS) by way of a pair of network emulators (PNEP). In this case, the network emulator (DPNE-KE) which is on the communications terminal side is connected to the mobile radio network (GSM) of the public telephone network (FE) and the network emulator (DPNE-KS) which is on the communications system side is also connected to the mobile radio network (GSM) or direct to the public telephone network (FE). With the aid of the pair of network emulators (PNEP), in the case of a connection request a connection is automatically established with the opposite network emulator (DPNE), and, by way of an additional signalling path (DZ) or "in-band", signalling information (si) is communicated by way of the public telephone network (FE). As a result, all user facilities which are provided in private communications networks can be utilized by the "external" communications terminal (KE).
