The fastening member of the mounting device comprises a rod-shaped element (8) made of a resilient elastic material which may be rubber. A rubber-to-metal connecting piece (9,11) is provided on the respective ends of the rod-form element. The grinding tool (2) is pivot-mounted on the free ends of a stirrup (7) to the middle of which is fastened the connecting piece (11) lying near to the tool.
