Gas-fired infrared radiant heater with condensing heat exchanger

The heater incorporates two tubular radiant elements (3) through which the products of combustion of the gas flow to a heat exchanger installed between a ventilator (9) and the chimney (8). The flue (5) is surrounded by the combustion air intake duct (6) and provided with a condensate outflow (7) at the foot of the chimney. The air is inducted by a fan (10) whose speed is controlled in accordance with the air temperature. It cools the combustion products to the condensation point at which the water vapour content is liquefied and taken into the hot-water circuit, while the residual gas is released into the atmosphere.
