Double-glazed window or glass door

The window or glass door is mounted on a framework and comprises two parallel glass panes arranged so that the framework confines the glass panes at a distance to one another so that there is an air cushion between them. At least one of the glass panes is slidable relative to the other. The window or glass door has a main frame tied to the masonry or brickwork, with the outer glass pane (3) being firmly fixed to the main frame. The inner glass pane (6) is held in an auxiliary frame (5). The auxiliary frame is supported on guides which are fastened to the main frame, and it is slidable relative to the main frame. The auxiliary frame has a flexible sealing against the main frame. The sealing may be formed from a rubber elastic lip. One of the glass panes is double glazed.
