The duct (9) connecting the exhaust duct (4) and the inlet duct (5) is situated upstream of the exhaust turbine (6) and downstream of the inlet compressor (7). This branch (9) discharges into the inlet duct by means of a venturi (10). The regulation of the quantity of exhaust gas is controlled by controlling the exhaust-pressure-regulating means. These may comprise a turbine with variable geometry.
