<p>An electronic controller (11) is arranged to receive door locking and unlocking signals form a remote locking means in the form of a transportable transmitter (34) and a receiver (38) connected to the electronic controller (11). The electronic controller (11) is operable in two modes depending upon the way in which the transmitter (34) is operated. In a first mode only the status of an electrically operated door lock (16) is altered whereas in a second mode the status of the door lock (16) is altered and if the door is being unlocked the position of a rear window (23) is also altered.</p> |
