Electrical layered contact element produced by applying a first layer (2) made of Ag-contg. material on a base metal (1) and then electrolytically applying, to this, a second layer (3) made of Au(alloy), and diffusing the second layer into the first by heat treating. The first layer (2) is electrolytically produced as a Ag-metal oxide layer contg. 2-12 wt.% metal oxide and 20-70 mu m layer thickness. Also claimed are: (i) a semi-finished prod. for layered contact elements, in which the base metal is in the form of a weldable wire (1) provided with contact layers (2,3,4); and (ii) prodn. of the layered contact element. |
