The swivel door comprises a central, vertical swivel axis (26) with machine tool fixed swivel bearings. The door swivel axis is offset to the chuck table swivel axis (23) in the direction away from the working region. The chuck table has at least one carrier (30-33) for the swivel door rotary movement. At least one carrier protrudes from the chuck table plane.
