Cleanable cuvette for optical gas analysers

The cuvette for optical gas analysers consists of a housing with a cylindrical bore which is divided vertically by a wall (3) into two parallel chambers, one to hold the gas being analysed (4) and the other for the reference gas (5). So that the analysis chamber, particularly, can be easily cleaned, both ends of the bore ae closed by circular windows (9) fitting within a ring flange (13) in the housing, which are movable but held by a gas-tight seal (12). One end of the reference chamber has a further window closure (8), parallel to the circular window closure (9) on the inside. The gap (14) between these two window closures allows for the entry of gas into the analysis chamber.
