The guy rope support for trees has a cable core (1) to take up the push and pull forces, covered by a mantle (2) of a material which does not damage the trees held in place by a shrunk film (3) shrunk in place over the upper and lower end of the mantle (2) at the outer side and similarly over the hook (5) extension (4) from the mantle. A cable clamp (6) with an eyelet (7) is fitted at a gap from the end of the cable, for the hook (5) to engage the eyelet (7) round the tree.
