OUTDOOR UNIT FOR AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner in which a heat exchanging capability can be increased by increasing the capacity of the heat exchanger and noise can be decreased by making uniform a ventilating resistance to heat-exchanged air passing through the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION: A unit main body 1 has outside air inlet ports 4 and 5 opened to a rear face part and a side face part and an outlet port 3 opened to a front face. An outdoor heat exchanger 6 and a blower 12 are arranged in the unit main body 1. The outdoor heat exchanger 6 comprises a first heat exchanger 7 bent and formed in an L-shape in plan view so as to be opposed to the respective outside air inlet ports, and arranged so as to surround the blower 12 and a second heat exchanger 8 provided in the upstream side of the heat exchanged air of the first heat exchanger 7 and between the first heat exchanger 7 and the outside air inlet port 4 in the rear face, and formed in a rectangular shape in plan view.
