PURPOSE: To increase vertical illuminance of a space in the opposite direction to a traffic direction, and increase the rear surface illuminance of a preceding vehicle so as to improve the visual environment in a double traffic tunnel by making the light distribution of a tunnel luminaire asymmetric, and giving much light flux in the traffic direction. CONSTITUTION: When a tunnel luminaire is installed in a standard fitting direction, and the light distribution thereof is divided by a vertical cross section to a traffic lane axis direction containing a luminaire center, luminaire light flux directing in a traffic direction is larger than the luminaire light flux in the opposite direction to the traffic direction by 1.5 times or more, the throw of a main beam containing the maximum luminous intensity Imax is positioned in the vertical angle of 20 degrees direction or more, and the shape of light distribution is such as 50% or more of luminaire total light flux concentrates between the vertical angle 45 degrees or more and 70 degrees or less. The luminaire light distribution in the opposite direction to the traffic direction has the luminous intensity of 50cd or more at least in a range from the vertical angle 70 degrees to 85 degrees for a visual line guide. |
