The device features pairs of grooves (61,63) corresponding to different types of nut (71,73) on both sides of the seatings (75,77), whose thicknesses (D1,D2) differ in accordance with those of the grooves. When an attempt is made to insert a nut into the wrong groove, the thicknesses do not correspond so that the operator's attention is drawn immediately to the error. In the depicted embodiment the device is associated with a fusible element (3) having a plastic housing and a pair of pins (13) with slots through which the fixing screw passes on either side of the nuts.
