Clamping strap for securing IC component to printed circuit board

The clamping strap (7) is secured to the surface of the printed circuit board via retaining pins (8) at the sides and is provided by a clamping spring (5) with spring fingers, projecting over the retaining pins, their ends fitting between a pair of clamp plates (4). The clamp spring and the clamp plates have corresponding bores, receiving the retaining pins, with a central clamping screw (6) tightened to provide the clamping pressure holding the IC component against the printed circuit board.
