METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRESERVING TENTION OF POWER CODE IN A CLEANER

The apparatus and method regulates the tension of the power cord in the self running cleaner. The apparatus comprises: a motor(4); a screw type plate spring(10) with one end fixed on a motor shaft(6) and the other end fixed to a rotary plate(12); the rotary plate(12) winding the power code(2); a power source(16) converting A/C voltage into D/C voltage; photo sensors(18,20) sensing the length of the power cord(2) from an outlet, and generating a variation of the tension; a microcomputer(22) generating a command of rotating the motor to release or wind the cord by the length as long as the sensed tension variation; a motor driving circuit(24); a hole sensor(26) sensing the rpm of the motor.
