The dish washing machine irradiates ultraviolet ray to the washing water, and sterilizes bacteria remaining in dishes after finishing the washing process. The machine comprises: an ultraviolet sterilization means(6) including a ultraviolet lamp irradiating ultraviolet ray to the water circulating in a circulation pipe(5); a control signal generator(7) including a microcomputer(8), a switching means(9) with resistors(R1-R3) and a transistor(Q1), and a triac(T) driving a pumping means(4) and the ultraviolet sterilization means(6) to control the operation of the ultraviolet sterilization means(6).
