摘要 1347739 Locks; window operating mechanism AUTOMOBILES PEUGEOT 30 Dec 1971 [11 Jan 1971] 60684/71 Headings E2A and E2M A device for controlling movable panels of a vehicle each panel being actuable by an electric motor, a lock mountable on at least one of the doors of the vehicle wherein relay means are provided for simultaneously actuating all of the motors for closing the panels and at least one switch controls the supply of power to the relay means and is mechanically connected to the lock or each lock and connected in series with the relay means. One or each front door of a vehicle has a key operated barrel lock the barrel of which is connected by a bar 3 to a locking member 5 which engages a lug 7 to lock a latch 7a. The bar 3 carries a bar 8 with a lateral projection 9 which when the door is locked closes a switch 10 and energises a relay 19 connected through the switch 18 to a battery. The switch 18 operates to close the circuit to drive the motor 11 of each panel. A thermal switch 17 in series with the motor 11 automatically cuts off the supply to the motor 11 when the panel has closed. The motor is in series with switches 15, 16 as shown in Fig. 6, the switch 16 being actuated to open the panels by the motors 11. The panels are closed independently of the door lock by actuating a switch 20 inside the vehicle. In order that all the doors be locked simultaneously whenone door is locked, the circuit includes a relay 21, both relays 19, 21 being connected to a switch 22, closure of which, ensures both locking of the doors and closure of the panels. A switch 23 connected between the coil 19 and two switches 10, when open, breaks the circuit for closure of the panels to enable the doors to be locked without competely closing the panels. The motor 11 has a worm 12 on a driven shaft, the worm being in mesh with a worm wheel 13 which carries an arm 14 on its axle the arm having a stirrup supporting the panel. The bar 3 engages in an aperture 4 in the locking member 5, the aperture having the shape of two opposed isosceles trapeziums whereby the barrel may return to its original position independently of the position of the locking member 5. The panels may be windows, sliding roof or hood of the vehicle.
