<p>1286577 Hospital glove RHONE-POULENC SA 9 Dec 1970 [9 Dec 1969] 58505/70 Heading A3V A glove, intended principally for hospital use, having the length of a normal adult hand and forearm has a wide mouthed sleeve portion 1, a first separate recess 2 for the thumb, a second separate recess 3 for the index finger and a third separate recess 4 for the other three fingers, the said third recess having twice the width of these three fingers, the palm portion of the glove and the sleeve each being twice as wide as the palm of the hand and the lengths of the palm portion and of the said recesses being those of the corresponding palm, fingers and thumb of the hand. The glove can be made from two sheets of polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride film heat welded at the edges. Specific dimensions and angular relations for the various parts of the glove are given in the Specification. Alternatively the glove may be formed from an extruded polyethylene sleeve. The glove may be sterilised byγirradiation.</p> |
