The structure, formed in a rear part of a noise absorption chamber, efficiently cools the power cord wound in a cord reel of the vacuum cleaner by the exhaust air flown from the noise absorption chamber. The structure comprises: an air ventilation means(30) directed to a rear wall of the noise absorption chamber(7) and having a hollow cylindrical protrusion(30b) formed on a recess(30a); a connection pipe forming an air flow path by connecting an exit(4b) of a cord reel storage chamber(4) to the hollow cylindrical protrusion(30b).
