Clearing chain in which each scraper finger (7) is made in two parts. The first part consists of a finger-shaped carrier (8) joined to the scraper blade (3). The second part is a releasably connected protective cap (9) which is pushed onto the finger-shaped carrier. The cap completely encloses the carrier and is held by a fastening pin (10).
