PURPOSE: To prevent a fusion substance from being suspended and oozed by selectively suppressing heat generation from a heating body located near a butt joint part at the ends of connection bodies to be connected so as to form a cold zone in an electric fusion connection member provided with a conductive particle compound type heating body. CONSTITUTION: In an electric fusion connection member 1 provided with a heating body 2 comprising a thermoplastic resin containing conductive particles and electrodes 4 and 4 consisting of braided wire to feed electric power to the heating body, a conductive film 5 is provided in a selected zone between the electrodes 4 and 4 of the heating body 2, and a distance in the zone is short-circuited electrically. Thus the selected zone is set to a non-heating zone.
