<p>PURPOSE: To obtain the subject ink containing water, a water-soluble organic solvent having low vapor pressure, a hydrophobic colorant and a hydrophobic resin soluble in the water-soluble organic solvent (e.g. maleic resin), containing the hydrophobic resin in dispersed state and giving a printed matter having high abrasion resistance and water resistance. CONSTITUTION: This dispersion of fine particles of a colorant resin is produced by using at least (A) water, (B) a water-soluble organic solvent having vapor pressure lower than water, (C) one or more hydrophobic colorants soluble in the water-soluble organic solvent such as an oil-soluble dye, a disperse dye or a pigment and (D) one or more resins selected from maleic resin, phenolic resin, styrene-acrylic resin, ketone resin, coumarone resin, polyvinyl butyral resin, polyvinyl formal resin,ε-caprolactam copolymer, poly(meth)acrylic acid ester, polystyrene, polyvinyl acetate, ABS resin, polyester, polyamide, etc., as a hydrophobic resin soluble in the water-soluble organic solvent and mixing the solution of the components B, C and D in the water A.</p> |
