PURPOSE: To detect a carrying condition in a short time even if carrying failure is caused in the middle in a processing part by detecting the carrying condition in the processing part of a carrying object member by dividing it into three stages. CONSTITUTION: Master paper 12 is fed into a fixing part 30, and when the tip contacts with a limit switch 74, a pulse timer is started, and measurement on whether or not passing of the tip of the master paper 12 is detected by a limit switch 76 in a preset time T2 is started. When the limit switch 76 is not turned on in the preset time T2 , the pulse timer is turned off, and the occurrence of carrying failure is displayed. After the limit switch 76 detects the passing of the tip, when the limit switch 74 is not turned off since the rear end is not inserted even if a preset time T1 passes, the pulse timer is turned off, and the occurrence of carrying failure is outputted. Even if the preset time T2 passes after the limit switch 74 detects passing of the rear end, when the limit switch 76 cannot detect the passing of the rear end, the occurrence of carrying failure is outputted. |
