PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of a boundary line, a burr, a step, and the like at an end part of a work to improve an appearance of a design surface and to efficiently and uniformly heat time end part of the work. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary electrode 25 having a shape or the like corresponding to an end part of an extruded work 10 is mounted on an upper electrode 21 of a high-frequency heating machine for heating the end part of the work 10 at a high frequency. High-frequency heating is intensively and uniformly conducted between the auxiliary electrode 25 and a lower electrode 22. After heating, the end part of the work 10 is pressed into a predetermined shape by a press mold. |
