摘要 PURPOSE: To heat passing air with an exterior heat exchanger by keeping the circulating direction of a heat exchange medium at a heating mode even if frosting is detected, provided that input signals from a switch for inhibiting defrost operation from being started and a defrost switch exist, regardless of the detection of frosting on an exterior heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner controller 23 outputs control signals to a cycle switching device 7, a frequency adjusting device 8, a wind quantity controller 15, an energizing controller 16 and a blowing-off opening setter 19 for air conditioning based on the signals from vehicle interior and exterior heat exchange temperature sensors 10, 11, an interior air sensor 20, a solar radiation sensor 21 and a defrost stopping switch 22. Detected signals from respective sensors are read to compute target blowing air temperature and blowing-off quantity, control a blower 12, a compressor 2 and an electric heater 13 for air conditioning to the cabin side. Frost detection on an exterior heat exchanger 5 is discriminated from the detected temperature by the sensor 11, and if frosting is detected, heating is continued by an exterior heat exchanger 3 when an input signal from the defrost stopping switch 22 exists.
