PURPOSE: To obtain a raft for plant culture, effective for improving the fixing and root-taking of a plant and having excellent durability and handleability by covering an expanded polystyrene board with a nonwoven cloth, etc., boring plural holes on the expanded polystyrene board and detachably inserting planting pots into the holes. CONSTITUTION: An expanded polystyrene board 2 having plural holes 5 extending through the board from the top to the bottom is covered with a nonwoven cloth 3 and a sheet 4 of coconut fiber and a planting pot 6 having mesh bag form is detachably inserted into each hole 5 to obtain the objective plant culture raft 1. Preferably, plural plant culture rafts 1 are connected with each other by sandwiching the rafts with plural polyvinyl chloride pipes 9 from the top and bottom and floating on a water surface. |
