PURPOSE: To prevent the corrosion of an aluminum plate generated by the contact of a silver halide emulsion with the aluminum plate during the preservation after production in a planographic printing plate wherein a physical developing nuclei are provided between an aluminum support of which the surface is roughened and anodically oxidized by a silver complex salt diffusion transfer method and a silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION: In the preservation after production of a planographic printing plate wherein a physical developing nuclei are provided between an aluminum support of which the surface is roughened and anodically oxidized by a silver complex salt diffusion transfer method and a silver halide emulsion layer, the water content of the photographic constitution layer of the planographic printing plate is set to 16% or less.
