<p>PURPOSE: To allow the installation of a flue in spite of an increase in the amt. of treating gases and to stabilize a pressure drop so as to improve desulfurization efficiency by providing all of desulfurizers installed in juxtaposition with gas introducing sections and gas discharge ports and providing the gas introducing ports of these gas introducing sections with spray nozzles. CONSTITUTION: The treating gases first advance in the gas introducing sections 22 when the treating gases are introduced from the gas introducing ports 22a into a wet desulfurizing device 10. These gases are introduced from the gas inlets 21 of the respective desulfurizers 20 installed in juxtaposition along the flue direction into the gas introducing chambers 33 of respective vessels, where the SOx in the treating gases is absorbed. At this time, there is a possibility of the occurrence of drifts in the treating gases during the course of distribution to the respective desulfurizers 20 from the introducing sections 22. The inflow rate of a desulfurization treating liquid is, however, made higher nearer the downstream desulfurizers 20 by the injection of the desulfurization treating liquid from the spray nozzles 25 disposed in the gas introducing ports 22a, by which the inflow resistance of the treating gases is adjusted. As a result, the uniform distribution of the treating gases to the respective desulfurizers 20 is embodied. In addition, the gas-liquid contact time is prolonged and the desulfurization efficiency is improved.</p> |
