<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an antibacterial and antifungal agent capable of inhibiting growth of bacteria and fungi growing in foods, flower plants, etc., by mixing and kneading a specific semiconductor and a hydraulic compound. CONSTITUTION: This antibacterial and antifungal agent is obtained by dispersing a semi-conductor (preferably titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, tungsten trioxide, cerium oxide, etc.) having 0.5-5eV forbidden belt width in a hydration coagulate of a hydraulic compound such as calcined gypsum, calcium sulfate, etc. The weight ratio of the conductor to the hydraulic compound is preferably (6:1)-(1:6).</p> |
