PURPOSE: To obtain a polyester molded product which is excellent in laser marking and useful for a coil bobbin, a terminal table, parts for switch, buttons and the like by formulating carbon and a hydrophilic polymer having a specific range of melt viscosity ratio to a thermoplastic polyester resin. CONSTITUTION: (A) A thermoplastic polyester in an amount of 100 pts.wt. having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.6-1.20 is mixed with (B) 0.001-5 pts.wt. of carbon, and (C) 1-4 pts.wt. of a hydrophilic polymer (preferably an aliphatic polyamide or a polyether-ester-amide) having an apparent melt viscosity of 10-4,000Pa.S at the shear rate of 1,000/sec at 280 deg.C and a ratio of its apparent melt viscosity to that of the component A of 0.001-1 to give the objective molded product with a water absorptivity of 0.15-3wt.%, when it is exposed for 24 hours to the environment of 23 deg.C and 100% RH. |
