PURPOSE: To prepare starting materials for a ceramic sintered compact less liable to undergo grain orientation without increasing cost or causing problem on difference between brands and to produce a ceramic sintered compact using the starting materials. CONSTITUTION: Powdery starting materials for a ceramic sintered compact are prepd. so that the ratio of the particle diameter to the thickness of each primary particle of >=90wt.%, preferably >=95wt.%, especiall preferably that of all of the starting materials is regulated to 1-5 and the average particle diameter of the primary particles of all the starting materials is regulated to <=10μm. The starting materials are mixed, compacted and fired to obtain the objective ceramic sintered compact. |
