PURPOSE: To easily and quickly perform a calibration process by using catalog data for a lens focal point distance, lens strain and film distortion, and finding other six variables as rotation angles of from six element and sextic, or more simultaneous equations, regarding a plurality of camera parameters. CONSTITUTION: An aircraft parking position instruction device VDGS catches the anti-collision light ACL of an incoming aircraft with two CCD cameras laid at intervals of the prescribed distance, and performs a process such as color extraction, gravity calculation and three-dimensional calculation. Then, the device VDGS finds the three-dimensional position coordinates P (X, Y, Z) of the ACL. In this case, catalog data is used for a lens focal point distance Caorb , lens strain Kaorb , and film distortion ρaorb , regarding the camera parameters of both video cameras A and B. On the other hand, survey equipment is used, while a reference point in measurement space being used as an aircraft parking stop position, for finding the camera coordinate system of Xaoorbo , Yaoorbo and Zaoorbo . Also, the solutions of six variables of ωaorb , ϕaorb and kaorb as other rotation angles are obtained from six element and sextic, or more simultaneous equations. |
