<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punch press having an elongate space for mounting its tool, enabling a high speed rotation of a machine, unnecessitating high consumption of energy and not generating a force of large dynamic mass. SOLUTION: An eccentric shaft 1 is connected to single arm levers 7, 8 projecting in both sides remote from a slider via a connecting rod 5 and the slider 11. At the ends of the single arm levers 7, 8, the levers are supported via threaded spindles 16 by the frame 2 of a punch press. Groups of link members are pivotally mounted to the levers and are connected to double lever pairs 22, 23 symmetrically arranged relative to the center line of the frame 2 of the press. All double levers 22, 23 are pivotally mounted to pressing columns 28, 29. The pressing columns of respective pairs of the double levers are mounted to a corresponding ram 32. Each ram is guided by three guide columns 35, two of which are rigidly connected to a ram 32 and one to the frame 2 of the press.</p> |
