<p>PURPOSE: To provide a golf-club set such that slice with long irons and hook with short irons are prevented by forming a sole from toe-side and heel-side guide faces which incline diagonally upward from the middle part between the toe and the heel toward the toe and the heel, respectively, within a predetermined range. CONSTITUTION: A sole 10 is formed by a toe-side guide face 12 and a heel-side guide face 13 which sandwich the middle part M between the toe and the heel. Both of the guide faces 12, 13 are formed to incline diagonally upward from the middle part M toward the heel and heel, respectively, from the back-side rear edge 10a to the face-side front edge 10b. Each of the guide faces 12, 13 is formed into a curved surface such that its curvature increases from the back- side rear end 10a toward the face-side front end 10b. Since the sole 10 has no thick projected part, the possibility of striking the top of the ball in a strong shot is eliminated, so the carry can be increased.</p> |
