PURPOSE: To prevent leakage of grease, by which a contact part between an inner ring and a coil spring is lubricated, to the outside, in a torque limiter using a coil spring. CONSTITUTION: An outer ring 2 is arranged at the outside of an inner ring 1 in which a shaft 12 is inserted and which effects whirl stop of the shaft 12. An insertion hole 4 in which one end part of the inner ring 1 is inserted is formed in the inner surface of the closed end wall 3 of the outer ring 2. One end of a coil spring 7 to fasten the outside diameter surface of the inner ring 1 is locked to a cover body 6 mounted on the opening part of the outer ring 2 and the other end is locked to the closed end wall 3 of the outer ring 2. A first oil reservoir 16 is formed between one end face of the inner ring 1 and the bottom of the insertion hole 4 and a large hole part 18 in which an oil reservoir 17 is formed is located between the one end part of the inside diameter surface of the inner ring 1 and the outside diameter surface of the shaft 12. When grease to lubricate a contact part between the inner ring 1 and the coil spring 7 flows in the direction of the inside diameter of the outer ring 2 along a contact surface between one end part of the inner ring 1 and the closed end wall 3, the grease is caused to reside in the first and second oil reservoirs 16 and 17 and leakage of the grease to the outside is prevented from occurring by a labyrinth effect produced in the oil reservoirs 16 and 17. |
