PURPOSE: To reduce generation of a water mist in a low noise, and prevent mixing of a pollutant, bacteria or the like in gas for breathing by bringing liquid water into contact with one surface of a steam permeable film, and flowing gas whose composition is adjusted for breathing to the other surface. CONSTITUTION: A film or hollow fiber 1 having steam permeability without hole is formed by using a moisture containing polymer having a hydrophilic group as a main component. In this film or hollow fiber 1, the Gurley number is set not less than 60 seconds. For example, a film or hollow fiber (the hollow fiber 1) is formed of moisture permeable urethane having a hydrophilic group in a polymer chain. The hollow fiber 1 is set in a humidifying water vessel 4, and a humidifier is formed. Humidifying water 5 is contacted with one surface of the hollow fiber 1, and gas whose composition is adjusted for breathing, for example, oxygen enriched air is flowed to the other surface. |
