PURPOSE: To obtain a polyarylene sulfide resin composition high in heat resistance and mechanical strength and excellent in adhesivity to epoxy resins, silicone resins, etc. CONSTITUTION: A substantially linear polyarylene sulfide comprises para-arylene sulfide units and meta-arylene sulfide units, wherein the meta-arylene sulfide units is contained in an amount of 0.5-10mol.% based on the total amount of the meta-arylene sulfide units and the para-arylene sulfide units, and has a melt viscosity V6 of 50-3000 poises and an adhesive strength of >=60kgf/cm<2> to epoxy resins. |
