PURPOSE: To provide a pad of an air bag device capable of arranging a decorative member by improving installation stability even when a pad main body is easy to extend as one layer structure made of thermoplastic elastomer. CONSTITUTION: This pad is furnished with a pad main body 11 made of thermoplastic elastomer to rupture a rupture expected part 13 at the time of expansion of an air bag and a decorative member 23 arranged at a position out of the rupture expected part 13 and having an installation base plate 25 to projectively provide an installation leg 26. The pad main body 11 is furnished with a storage recessed part 17 of the decorative member 23 and an installation hole 18 passing through the center of the storage recessed part 17, and an uplift part 19 to make thickness t1 of an arrangement portion of the decorative member 23 roughly equal to thickness t0 of a general part in the circumference is furnished on the back surface side. The decorative member 23 is arranged and fixed on the storage recessed part 17 by putting a corrosion plate 28 on the uplift part 19 and passing the installation leg 26 through the installation hole 18 and a through hole 28a. |
