<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the consumption of power and to maintain high desulfurization efficiency by continuously adjusting the amt. of oxidizing air to be delivered from an oxidation blower in accordance with the load of the desulfurizer. CONSTITUTION: The sulfurous acid concn. signal (a) detected by an ORP (oxidation reduction potential) meter 8 is inputted to a reverse-acting ORP controller. The output control signal (b) of the ORP controller 10 is used as the remote-set input of the set value SV (c) of a reverse-acting flow controller 11. The oxidizing air signal (d) detected by an oxidizing air amt. detector 9 is inputted to the controller 11. An output signal (e) is outputted according to the set value SV (c) and inputted to the remote-set frequency input (f) of an inverter 13. Consequently, when the sulfurous acid concn. in the circulating soln. is increased above the set value of the ORP controller 10, the output signal (b) is corrected in the decreasing direction, and the output control signal (e) is also corrected in the decreasing direction. Accordingly, the revolving speed of the driving motor 3' of an oxidation blower 3 is decreased, and the amt. of air delivered from the blower 3 is diminished.</p> |
