PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft and transparent casing for food by turning regenerated cellulose manufactured under specified conditions to a base and performing reinforcement by fibers. SOLUTION: The regenerated cellulose manufactured by extruding a viscose solution for an amount 10-30% less than standard at an extrusion speed accelerated for at least 25% is turned to the base and the reinforcement is performed by the fibers. It is especially useful as the casing for sausages.
