PURPOSE: To obtain a feed for rearing capable of utilizing the convenience of a solid type feed and satisfying the gnawing habit of a reared animal such as a dog. CONSTITUTION: This feed contains grains, casein and an animal protein other than the casein. The feed comprises a hard material, obtained by blending the grains with the casein at 1:(0.7-1.5) weight ratio, carrying out processing treatments of kneading, pressurizing, extrusion molding and drying of the resultant blend for the feed and having 7-10wt.% moisture content and 65-80kg/cm<2> hardness. |
