PURPOSE: To provide a method and an equipment for copying welding capable of completely avoiding the effect of the arc and the spatter, and achieving the extremely precise copying welding even when a laser beam irradiating part is brought close to a part to be welded. CONSTITUTION: A groove positioned immediately close to the forward part in the proceeding direction of a welding torch 3 is irradiated with the laser beam, and the welding current is reduced to realize the condition of the droplet short circuit transition. Then, the laser beam cutting image is photographed by a first photographing equipment 13 provided with an interference filter 15, and the characteristic points of the groove are calculated by the approximate processing to achieve the copying welding. |
